my experience

Using blogger in this class was a lot of fun. I have learned a lot about the program and how to use it, also I have learned how many people use blogs. I parts I enjoyed the most are the creativity part. It let me be creative with the things I like most, and that would be cars. Also it was a very easy relaxing way to teach a class. In the beginning it frustrated me because I couldn’t figure out how everything worked like adding links and pictures, but now that I understand how it works it became very easy and fun. My favorite post was the oil dip sticks one because it had a lot of good information it, but it was funny at the same time. My least favorite post was the one where we had to pick another blog and write what was good and bad about it. Blogging changed writing for me because it was a fun way to write. I usually don’t like writing but this made it fun and let me be creative and write about what I like in real life. It’s definitely not my thing I will not use it in the future but It was a experience I’m glad I got to experience.

oil dip stick

Oil dip stick I am made out of metal and I have a plastic end so you can grab me out easy to check your oil. The end of me has hash marks on it to let you know if you have the right amount of oil in your car. The end of me sits in the oil pan. My name has been used in a bad way for a long time. “Dip Stick” I try to get people to quit using it in that way and use it for what it is meant to be used for. That is checking the oil in your vehicle. If you check me and I am low you want to find my girl friend the oil fill spout. You would want to remove her top and poor some oil down her throat. When you are done with that pull me back out and make sure the oil is on the full line. Once all of that is don’t the car is ready to drive for another 3 thousand miles or 5 thousand if you put synthetic oil in me.

racing accident

Racing can be a very dangerous thing. Look just this weekend race car driver Dan Wheldon gets killed. It will be very hard for many to deal with the loss. It makes many people re think about their life and how dangerous it is every time they get in that car, and are out on the race track. The Indy car championships are canceled now but the drivers gave a 5 lap solute to show their respect for their lost friend. there where many things that led to this crash a few of them being the speed of the cars, also how many cars they had running on this track played a big part in it. With this many people on the track it left the drivers with zero room for error. Several experienced drivers said that they where scared of a big crash like this happening before the race even started. Everybody says they hope the death of Wheldon will raise the bar for safety. They hope that after seeing this they will make some changes and more regulations to keep this tragedy from happening again. The people say there is no way to show how bad they feel for him, and his family. He had a wife and 2 kids.cnn news

atv mudd run

The design of this post is very good. Everything flows together, the picture is pleasing and everything is very well organized. The way he explains stuff and the words he uses make you want to read the whole thing. The focus of this site is to get out once and a wile and try something new like four wheeling. The focus of this site is very well brought out. The picture explains the whole post, how challenging four wheeling can be. He shares it very well in the way he explains what the competition is all about. I relate to this post very well because I love four wheeling and I like a challenge. This post is very short and it hits all the main points and information you need to know. This writer uses all the correct punctuation, there are no run on sentences, and he uses periods and commas where there needed. This post got the message out there that the event is coming up. Anybody is invited bring your four wheeler and be ready to have some fun. The audience for this blog is middle age people who have four wheelers and like to have fun.
This event is coming up soon everyone’s welcome.

how to do a oil change

Oil changes are something everybody should
know how to do. In the long run it can save
you tons of money. Dealership prices are around
45 for average oil changes, when you can do it
yourself for around 30 dollars. Plus that is with
a good oil product like Pennzoil. Dealerships use
cheap oil and filters that aren’t the best for
your car. The first thing you need to do is go to
a parts store and ask them what oil and filter
you need for your vehicle. The things you will
need to do this is a wrench for your drain plug,
an oil catch pan, a funnel, and maybe a oil filter
wrench if you cant get it off by hand. All though
you can almost always get the filter off with out
a wrench. The first step is jacking your car up.
Next you will have to go underneath and remove
the drain plug. Make sure you have the oil pan
underneath before you remove the plug all the
way. Once you have that done you can get out
from underneath the vehicle. Wile your waiting
for it to drain you can remove the oil filter, and
install the new one. When you take the old one
off make sure the o-ring comes off with it. And
when you install the new one make sure to put
oil on the new o-ring so it seals back up, and
doesn’t leak. After this you go back underneath
the car and reinstall the drain plug. After all of
this is done you are ready to put the oil in. You
put the funnel in the oil filler neck and add the
recommended amount of oil. Then you have to
go start the car and let it run for 20 seconds.
Shut it off and go pull out the dip stick, wipeit
off and re insert it, then pull it out again and make
sure to oil is in-between the to marks or to the
full line. After all of this you are done and your
car is ready for another 3 thousand miles.
